Jan de Vries was described by the Evening Standard as "quite simply the Top Man".
He has been practising what is now called 'complementary medicine' for nearly 50 years. He qualified as a pharmacist and later studied with the famous Dr Alfred Vogel and, together they started the first naturopathic clinic in Holland in 1960.
Jan de Vries now has a total of four clinics throughout the UK and Ireland, and is affiliated to another four. The plethora of therapies offered at his clinics are wide ranging, including naturopathy, acupuncture, iridology, aromatherapy, slimming, massage, homeopathy, reflexology, osteopathy and herbal medicine.
Jan has written over forty books on a myriad of health problems and writes in many magazines and newspapers. He also broadcasts regularly on radio and television and is in great demand as a lecturer.
His own personal goals are to protect nature and the environment, to promote natural and holistic methods and philosophies and to conduct research throughout the world in dietary, natural, herbal, homeopathic and environmental situations.
